Designing a good website that accommodates a large amount of content is a difficult balancing act to achieve. Are you trying to present all the information to the user in a clean and organized way, or reveal it piecemeal, in an effort to create a trail of breadcrumbs that lures the user down the path to enlightenment? If you mess up, you risk overwhelming your visitors, who will then leave without retaining any of what they just read. Get it right though, and you've gained a new audience member who not only understands your message, but might as well bring some friends with them when they return.
